Although a gentle stroll will have benefits the main target for health walks will be a progressive increase to a brisk pace during the middle section of the session.
At the centre of the Action Heart Walking For Life scheme is an attractive waymarked walking route around Barrow Hill close to the Action Heart Centre at Russells Hall Hospital.
The walking scheme, initially to cater for ex-cardiac patients welcomes all who would like to participate in led health walks from various locations in the Dudley area.
Action Heart also has its own Fitness Walking Club for those who would like a slightly more testing pace.
